Palma International Boat Show 2026 — innovation, partnerships and development for Z-Sailing

From 29 April to 2 May 2026, Z-Sailing took part in the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS), one of the most important nautical gatherings in Europe and the event that traditionally opens the Mediterranean boating season. Held in the exceptional setting of the Moll Vell in Palma, at the foot of the famous cathedral and at the heart of one of the most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean, the show once again confirmed its status as an international reference for the entire nautical industry.

This 42nd edition gathered more than 310 exhibitors, close to 600 boats and more than 32,000 professional and enthusiast visitors from around the world. The Shipyards & Equipment, Superyacht Village and Superyacht New Build Hub areas offered a complete view of the trends shaping the boating of tomorrow.

A rich and productive edition

For Z-Sailing, this 2026 edition was particularly rich and productive. Our main mission was to identify the most innovative technologies on the market and to develop our network of partners in the Mediterranean in order to support the growth of our activities.

Exclusive Swiss distribution of MobilePilot

One of the highlights of the show was the finalisation of our exclusive distribution agreement for Switzerland with Searebbel for the MobilePilot system. After several technical discussions, demonstrations and validation trials carried out on different boats, we were convinced by the simplicity of installation, the build quality and the commercial potential of this innovative solution designed for motorboats.

MobilePilot brings a new approach to autopilot systems by offering a solution that is easy to install, without major modification to the boat, allowing boaters to benefit from modern and intuitive navigation assistance. We are particularly enthusiastic about introducing this technology to the Swiss market in the coming months.

Strengthened relationships in the Balearics

The show was also an opportunity to strengthen our relationships with numerous players in the Balearic nautical sector. We met harbour managers, marina operators, charter professionals, skippers and several nautical service companies. These discussions made it possible to identify several collaboration opportunities that could support the future development of our activities in the region.
