Nautic Concept Expo 2026 — boating on Lake Geneva, on a human scale

4 – 6 September 2026Mies & Mies-Tannay harbour, Lake Geneva, Switzerland

Z-Sailing was not exhibiting at Nautic Concept Expo 2026. The trials and meetings described here took place around the period of the show.

From 4 to 6 September 2026, the Mies shipyard and the Mies-Tannay harbour hosted the second edition of Nautic Concept Expo, an original concept that reinvents the traditional boat show by offering an immersive experience on the shore of Lake Geneva. In an exceptional setting between lake and mountains, facing the Mont-Blanc massif, the event brought together professionals, enthusiasts and visitors around a single ambition: experiencing boating as close to the water as possible.

With its lakeside village, its boats afloat, its demonstrations on the lake and its trials in real conditions, Nautic Concept Expo offers a particularly convivial and pragmatic approach to boating. More than twenty exhibitors representing the main sectors of the industry were present to show their innovations, services and new products.

A format that matches our vision

At Z-Sailing, we would have particularly enjoyed taking part in an event that corresponds so closely to our vision of boating: proximity with users, concrete demonstrations, innovation and dialogue between enthusiasts. This human-scale format allows for quality discussions and encourages the creation of lasting partnerships between the different players in the sector.

Trials and partnerships on Lake Geneva

As we were not exhibiting this year, we used this period to actively pursue our development on Lake Geneva. Our objective was to carry out concrete trials of the MobilePilot autopilot wheel and to strengthen our relationships with several major players on the lake.

A first trial was carried out with NauticAuto, and a further trial is planned on a fishing boat in order to validate the system in professional use. These exchanges also allowed us to strengthen our relationships with several key actors of the Lake Geneva basin. We initiated or continued promising discussions with various professionals — notably Vidoli Marine, with whom a partnership has already been engaged, as well as OffAxis, Corsier Port, Pacha Marine and Geneva Boat in the context of potential collaborations around nautical technologies and the commercial development of MobilePilot.

Beyond technology distribution, Z-Sailing is also developing its Experiences and Academy activities. With this in mind, we held particularly interesting discussions with StayCoolAndSail.com to explore possible collaborations around nautical experiences, cruises, training and programmes for sailors wishing to build more experience on the water.

A model built on three complementary pillars

These different meetings confirm the relevance of our model, built around three complementary pillars:

  • Technology — introducing innovative solutions such as MobilePilot to Switzerland;
  • Academy — training, mile validation and the development of nautical skills;
  • Experiences — passages, events and stays that allow our clients to live their passion for the sea and the lakes to the full.

A productive edition

We congratulate the organisers of Nautic Concept Expo on the quality of an event that contributes to the vitality of boating on Lake Geneva. This kind of initiative fosters innovation, brings professionals closer to users and helps build a genuine nautical community in French-speaking Switzerland.

For Z-Sailing, this 2026 period has been particularly enriching and productive. The partnerships engaged, the trials carried out and the perspectives identified reinforce our conviction that the Swiss market is ready to welcome new nautical technologies and new experiences. We look forward to continuing these collaborations in the coming months and to supporting the development of Swiss boating through our Technology, Academy and Experiences activities.
